As of 2008, de Maistre will record exclusively for SONY BMG International. His debut album on RCA RED SEAL, “Nuit d’Etoiles”, dedicated to Debussy, is available since March 2008; then Sony released a second cd “Hommage à Haydn”, a refined and innovative interpretation of the Haydn Concertos performed with the Radio Symphonie Orchester Wien conducted by Bertrand De Billy.
In 2009 Xavier de Maistre has been insigned of the Echo Klassik Deutscher Musikpreis 2009 as “Instrumentalist des Jahres”.
